- Batumi is Las Vegas, but it's not paradise.
What i was hoping for was a place in Georgia to spend the winter, but it seems Batumi is not actually the warmest place in the country. Although it is on the Black Sea it is tucked inside where the mountains reach the sea so gets cold later in year. In March there was even 5cm of snow ..rare though.
