(f) Via Clodia V : Tuscania
Sat - Walked in from Norchia : chiesa San Pietro

- At the highway I was 7Km away from Tuscania so I walked and hitched .. after about 50 minutes a kind bloke gave me a ride and he made a special detour to drop me at the ancient church chiesa San Pietro at the south end of Tuscania .. there are some even older things there as the church was constructed on top of the old acropolis.

- Next walked up from the Basilca and into the medieval town ..bottom corner of the map.
- Touristic, but more off the beaten track than bigger places so not spoiled

Etruscan Museum

- Then out the gate into the tourist office ..she directed me to the tourist office and told me about the bus to Canino at 3pm.."sure" yes"

- The archaeology museum at The convent church of Santa Maria del Riposo was pretty good it had exhibition about the tombs nearby photos ..Website about the museum (maybe website under construction)

- I decided not to visit the actual tombs. I had seen enough tombs already ..and these tombs were out of town so I would have had to walk a long way.

Getting to Canino
- I spent an hour at the cyber cafe
- OK the plan was to meet up with Narciso
- I went to the place to wait for the bus and for once the bus came at the right time. "Ticket to Canino please", "We don't go to Canino".. It turned out that the bus route is configured to work with the school times .so it only goes through Canino on weekdays
- I got down at Arlena di Castro and managed to hitch within 30 mins , Tuscania and met up with Narciso in Cannino
