- Kruje is another friendly Albanian town with a good location underneath a mountain. In the morning the castle is full of Italian tourists.. so the area is spoiled by too many souvenir shops etc, but 100m away the rest is OK
- People met -Emilio and Natasha who own the last café on right before the castle .. They rented me the room
- Oligar - 17 year old boy ... Sells icecream in the castle
- Tekke man - friendly old guy who shows you around the tekke and hammam west of castle.
- A woman who is a human ecology teacher at Tirana University
- met a guy drinking raki at 10 in the morning

- Na-I’m - Muslim owner of the carpentary factory
- Nafli - grandmother who's daughter lives in Oxford
- Elton a student who owns the shop at the south end of town

- In like it much more than Tirana as the people are very friendly .... I am sleeping on a classroom floor for 500 lek.
- I came with Pascal. We met some other Swiss tourist I knew so went for coffee.
I asked and yet again in Albania was very lucky below the café was an empty school room.

- walked to castle and old streets again, then I walked south east to base of hill. Coming back I cut to huge abandoned tunnel complex - The entrance tunnel cuts straight in so I could see there are many rooms, but I had no torch. Walked north - map says there is a spring, but Ii guess I didn't get that far

- You get off the furgon at Halil and walk 2Km ..turn left after the bridge, but before the Mosque
