Monday : After Internet hike the 10Km old trail across the hills view To Turtle Island

Tuesday - small market town - Yilan county - visit National Traditional Arts center Then hitched to straw village..then hitched with rescue team to Taroko Gorge . Damm it gets dark at 5.40pm, but Taiwan people are so kind. The first car took me to the other end of the gorge, where I ran into 300 high school students on a training exercise ..stayed at the Catholic hostel.
