Guanajuato
first impressions
| What a nice town and I keep meeting interesting people . It's different from any other town I've been to. It's completely hidden in steep valleys between the hills. There is almost no flat land. And in the centre the traffic goes through underground tunnels so it's pleasant to walk through. The mining industry technology in the area means that there are many of these tunnels. And it really is remarkable; the bus is going along then it goes into a tunnel and comes out in a completely different area of the city. Other times the bus emerges from a long winding tunnel somehow only round the corner from where it entered it.

Of course everywhere has views and I'm continually finding interesting bits hidden away.
La Presa the posh end of town which has 2 resevoirs.
