I put it on my science page

Radio 1 had a documentary "Porn Addiction", which was incredibly shallow.
No balance: OK it's good not to take a contemptious attitude like "porn is evil", but it took the line "yeh, look it's all over the internet, isn't it cool", without considering any negative aspects at all. Like are the models exploited. They talked about how school networks being protected, "but look how easy it is to get around the filter, ha ha ", without talking to an expert about the effects on children. It did talk about it setting up false expectations, but not much more depth. The ran a titilating segment with a female Porn Director and ended "can you send us some free porn the female presenter says",

BBC WS One Planet prog "is the Media Reporting Climate Porn ?" -

It was supposed to be a serious analysis, but it itself reported in a porn sensationalist way. It didn't chase facts to see if outrageous reports were true. Their premise was hype about C C puts people off from doing anything to fix it cos they think problem is too big to fix

Thu - Chinese Religious Vegeterian Parades
Similar to the .. in KL many people are in a trance or have metal skewed through their cheeks etc

In the evening there was a lion dance in the park. OK it was a normal lion dance. Quite a long lion, but it being dark the lions skin contained lot of lights with a lit up lion. Firstly the lion danced around banging fireworks.

Then they brought on a huge pole and the boys climbed it so now the lion spiralled the pole. The tamer balanced on the end of another bamboo pole and the dance began. Sometimes the tamer lost balance and his pole fell.
