I walked to Tauda village then in the distance I heard festival music so I walked there. It was temple fund raising festival.

In all the places I go there are almost only men, but this place was completely different, there very few men : the priest and men awarding the certificates and prizes for donations, but there were dozens of dolled up women waiting in line with their temple offerings. I don't understand this world ! There people are supposed to be poor and lacking in food, but they are queing up to give money and their best food to the temple. I think it's sad Surely they could put their resources into something more useful than a temple ?
... I wouldn't want anything to do with any woman stupid enough to believe in religion. so I didn't speak to them (well maybe some of them don’t believe and were only cullturally conforming, but I lost the opportunity to speak to any cos in the food tent was all spicy so I retreated to the nearby teashop which of course full of old men.
- I did meet girl who won a Hollywood award for 2006 revolution documentary. She explained the project to me, and tried to sell me a donation but I am not the person to give money to religion.

I walked back through Kiritipur. I see it's not just a suburb, but a proper town in it's own right.
