Spontaneously I decide one way of getting out of town and seeing more of Malaysia would be to go down to Singapore.

Wow Singapore has changed a lot in the last 10 years, it looks so modern and sophisticated a lot nicer than streets in Malaysia. There seems to be more money almost like Japan or Western Europe..new paint instead of peeling paint delapidated buildings and rubbish in the street ,that you see in the other nearby countries.
Like most places they are interesting for a day or 2, cos it's different, but everyday life is mostly boring. (the beach bar is a little far from everything.) Not only that though it looks nice on the outside and OK to visit. It's questionable whether it's a good place to live or not. I remember the things you learn after being there a while.
Photos taken at Sentosa Island - I went back to the beach bar where we use to play volleyball. Now the beach is 10 times as big and there are 10 beach bars, but it's very well done for something completely artificial.
Sat - Botanical Garden, Chinatown ..night bus back to KL
Wednesday- travel..decided not to rush so I stopped off at a few small towns, Segamat, Labis, Ayer Hitam but there was nothing to see really
Fri- Sentosa in the morning then Museums etc

What the hell have I have I been doing in the last 10 years, while they have built all this ? Nothing that's what I've do. But the look again, what have they built mostly shopping malls, poncy restaurants and flash hotels ie all things that the world would be better off without.
Things that have value to people who are inside the game called 20th Century consumerism, with their twisted values but actually have little value if you use logic.
Even $100 a head concert hall is not needed.
See look how rich it is when you SHUT UP and let the government organize ? ..Yes it does look good and the freedoms are getting more .. More tolerance of gays, openess about sex, but still an suspicious things going on in the background like censoring plays and the internet etc etc , . And the economy ..it's seems prosperous, but property prices have fallen severely in the last 9 years so many people have large debts.
