- Mon - Udaipur the lake city with no water. The lake was completely dried up so walked to Lake Palace now a hotel then sartted to walk across the Island Palace, but the guards said it was closed.

- Went up to the main palace - seemed entrance to the museum is 150Rp, but maybe you can enter the complex for free anyway an irritating guide put me off .. I tried to walk along the outside by going along the vehicle path on the driy lakeside, but the guards wouldn't let me.

- So walked out to a tribal museum and another archaeology museum but it was closed due to it being Monday.

- Kept getting lost in the narrow streets of the walled area. Eventually found a restaurant open ..it has a good rooftop view of the palace

- I walk around a lot so was constantly harassed, these Irritating auto-ricksaw drivers drove me to leave after 24 hours.

- My next destination Mount Abu was 5 hours away so I walked to the bus station got a ticket
