Explore North Shillong - Polo Valley
- Sun - worked and then went to Polo Ground for lunch at the Jado place. But since it was Sunday everywas closed. I walked 2 Km along past Archery ground etc to a corner with 20 Kiat (local wine) shacks ... Massive rains ... By then I had done a half circle of the valley... I went up the side for a view .. There was another town center Nongsong ? And roads ending in military bases. ... From the top of the hill I cut down and then up to come to the golf course. By now I was 3/4 circle of the valley. ... Golf Course seems to used as a public park ... Kids playing football etc and finally back to Polo Ground.

- Mon - must have been working.

Tue - Explore North

- some work then after lunch decided to go back up to golf course to explore ... But went up the hill a bit further to a Pine Forest .. For some reason there is a Seng Khasi office there .. Since I could see some high buildings I continued across the valley to Mawpat ... Which is behind NongSong.

- There was a good view from the Presbetarian School right across the city. After this village it's forest and farming in the valleys .. They said their farm is far...

- Came back to golf course, but there was no new middle-class town centre to discover. Back in the valley bottom found another town centre and market where I had some dinner then back to internet work.

Tue - Explore North

- This house in Mawpat looks so like a bungalow in England with flowers in the garden. Had tea with the owners.
