Tue-
- Had breakfast with Leo's family ..rice and fishpaste which I guess has good vitamims. Walked past old stone buildings ..actually the buildings are not so old, but like England the buildings have to be strong to resist the weather. Past the mission houses, there is still a Welsh missionary. raining 2Km to the police post. Still no internet there. Walking down to the Eco- Park I got a ride from x and his Ethnic Nepali family from Siliguri and Karkabitta n the Nepal border.

- Eco- Park A 1Km cliff where 7 waterfalls start and there should be a view down to Bangladesh, but today was cloudy.. There are a few monoliths as well.

- Caves - better than the LP guidebook says ... A full cave system even if most of the stalactites have Been broken

Friday - Leave
- The village wasn't great and I needed to get back to internet work. So I got up by 8.30 I was over the bridges. And this time I made it to the top in 45 minutes. It was Easter friday so I faced the prospect of haing to walk all the way, but after Tyrna I was at the road talking to the Tamil guy when I got a ride in a van. I was in Cherapungee at 10.38am.

- Still no bloody internet so after a quick meetup with Leo I had to head to Shillong

April 22nd Nongriat update

- Antoni was heading back to Guwahati and to Bihu festial in Majuli.

- Tom and Colin - met them on Monday 13th in Nartiang - Colin was heading back to Varanasi and Tom to tura hills (I'll be a week behind him)

- Just met Rodrigo in Shillong his stomach had flared up again so he'd rushed back from the Bangladesh border.

- The 2 Canadians ..Dylan's girlfriend has broken her ankle in 2 places (in Tyrna ?) she was going for a pee at night and local kids kept folling her so she switched her torch off and fell6ft off an edge. Ambulance to Shillong, helicopter to Guwahati to head to Delhi and to Canada we guess.
