- whilst hitching inland, from Kosovo to Podgorica and Niksik to Trebinje (Hertzogovina). Only one successful ride. Seemed people were a little scared. Usually more than 150 cars would pass and then the bus would come. Saw 3 times local women quickly get rides. Was told since local people pay, they don't like to stop for people with large backpacks who are seen as freeloaders.

- Stopped off at the first town Rosaje.. and walked around ..there was a tower (kula) turned into a museum ..not very industry .. stopped off at next town : Berane a Soviet style industrial town

- Got a ride with a kind van driver ..then next bus to Kolasin a hiking and skiing resort town. Museum was closed ..not much interesting ... started to hitch then bus came eventually.

- Arrived in the capital Podagorica .. there was a bus to NIksik so I took it .... Camped at Niksic
