It is a symbol for so many things that are wrong with society .. instead of rational thinking utopia based on truth we get, romanticism, lie upon lie of organized religion, superstition, assumptions and unthinking conformity , falseness and runaway commercialism.

Christmas is based on lies

1.Disrespect for the ancestors and nature (OK I can accept the logic of the in touch with nature people marking the longest shortest day)

2. the dominance of that evil religion Christianity - sexist, racist, elitist, wiping out other cultures, twisting the truth. Cultural hijacking of pagan traditions

3. falseness - Jesus wasn't born at Christmas

4. Disrespect for logic - Christianity is self contradictory; it makes rules then says it OK to break them ... the bible doesn't say anything about celebrate his birth in fact it says don't worship false idols I am the one God etc

5. Dispect for truth - The traditional nativity taught to children has the Shepherds, Wisemen, Gabriel all at the same time -- yet the bible doesn't it has them at different times over a number years.

5. The nuclear family myth - Modern society blindly accepts that the nuclear family is important as if it's a natural truth. Most grown up animals don't associate with their parents so why should humans ? What's all this go back to see the family crap -what you are saying is you don't respect other people equally or on grounds of logic, but cos people are connected by blood to you they are more important than others. What if you don't like your family. Lying 2 -I love my family.

6. Christmas spirit - Be good to people it's Christmas - What so you are not good to other people every day of the year ?

7. commercialism - You've got to buy presents, decorations etc. All at inflated prices you know everything is so much chear the day after.

8. Hype - Everything has to have the word Christmas attached to it as if that automatically makes something better. It's not the Comedy Show ... It's the Christmas Comedy Special .

9. Disrespect for truth 2 - Lying to Children - us that OK is it. lying 3

10. waste - Live in balance just take what you need. Look if I need something I buy it. How many unwanted Christmas presents are there. Lying 4 .. yes it's just what I wanted.

11. disrespect for nature -- Christmas trees - We are man we can chop trees down whenever we want, destroy the ecosystem for no reason other than we want to look at in our home for a couple of weeks.

12. gluttony/ overindulgance - Go on make yourself sick. Or have too many drinks and end up behaving like a twat; it's Christmas.

13. Blind conformity - Ugh you don; believe in Christmas ..there must be something wrong with you. Well if everyone does it that makes OK doesn't it - that's what sent millions of people to the gas chambers.

No wonder the murder and suicide rates soar at Christmas. When so many of the ideas like all the lying involved would cause a conflict with internal logic. Well I'm not going to put up with all the lying and conformity, I have the guts to say I hate Christmas will help keep me sane.

crap on TV, everything shut

Just cos I don't believe in celebrating Christmas or birthdays it's not that I don't believe in fun ..by reserving things for special days we are saying the other days aren't special ... me I want every day to be like a birthday .. I eat cake any day I want.
