- Clearly I am on the Anti-dalefarm side and I feel sorry for them cos they have been pushed into a disfunctioning culture.
- There are 300K gypsies, 150K live in houses, of the other 150K 87% live on legal sites so 19.5K are living on illegal sites like Dale Farm. So UN human rights talk perspective is 93.5% of gypsies are fine, only 6.5% are on illegal sites.
- Wed was the day of the Dale Farm eviction and it was interesting to follow it live as it was another example of "stupid world" people broke the law and then went to immense effort and time to defy it ..and then it caught up with them of course.

- Basically the story was over as soon as the final court decision on Monday. With the Law against, government against and the public what did they expect ?
- These days small groups of direct action protestors don't succeed in stopping government processes and nor in a democratic society should they be allowed to.
- Half of them are press & police infiltrators - Bizarrely these days the authorities are so experienced and so professional and the groups of anarchists are so police infiltrated these days it's just a timewasting, police over- time earning game. Quite possibly the travellers will move on illegally to some other authorities land, but the law is the law and has be upheld .. that's why the huge cost is justified ..it's an example to other people.

- Yep certainly the gypsies ancestors possibily suffered a lot of discrimination, but 2 wrongs don't make a right and it doesn't excuse lawbreaking now ..and clearly vast majority aren't. Those on Dale Farm have appeared to have drifted into a culture living in another word on the other side of the law.
- and have adopted systematic and cynical techniques : manipulation, using the law only when it suits them, crying wolf, shouting RACISM
shouting RACISM RACIST when you are losing a debate is a simple way of bullying your opponents into submission.

- Sarah Beeny has had her property 10 years and has been not bothering to get proper planning permissions.. "same law that applies to Dale Farm travellers applies to you luv"

- Jan Jařab, the regional representative of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, was rejected by the Foreign Office wen to visit Dale farm
- I hope the UN body OHCHR will congratulate the UK government . THE UK for a long time has had equal opportunity laws and has built travellers sites and given planning permission
- #dalefarm outrageous "ethnic cleansing" is shouted when equal opportunity laws & travellers are helped to set up legal sites - example of when the UK government helped gypsies set up a site
- The UN is racist - UN where were you when thousands of British pensioners were cheated out of their homes in Spain even though they had planning permission ?

- Andulucia region retropectively withdraws planning permission when buildings have already been built. "upto" 300K homes affected by Regional government saying buildings are illegal when they were all properly given planning permission by the local governments. Owner says for God's sake never buy property in Spain.

.. the latest - I realise that since they cynically appealed at the last moment the final judge awarded the council costs ..so surely the people will end up without even the land as it will be confiscated to pay the cost..which is now a much easier process when no one is living on it.

is that with planning permission for 34 caravans on the legal part of the site, there are now 50 and some people have moved back onto the illegal site ..so council is considering a new eviction
..for some reason there is no mains electricity anymore
: Council admits it has the legal right now to seize the land to cover the resisted eviction costs
