: The expert argued that yes 1 in say 100,000 cyclists will die in road accidents, but 30,000 in 100,000 non cyclists will die from heart disease.
However once they become regular cyclists their chances of heart disease become dramatically reduced far outweighing the risk of road accidents.

- On Skeptoid, Brian Dunning told the mysterious story of the missing Russians. Instead of accepting simple but bizare solution like "it was aliens" he picked the story apart to reveal rational explanations. - Why not turn this into an interesting games on your show.

- Challenge your hard thinking team to come up with the truth behind a seemingly bizarre situation.
- call it Deduce that Sherlock ! or "Well it wasn't the aliens !"

- I just listened to the Skeptoid podcast about the strange tale of the Russian skiers who disappear and then eventually bodies are found apparently radioactive and some naked some wearing others clothes.

- On Skeptoid, Brian Dunning instead of accepting easy but bizarre explanations like they were kidnapped by aliens or caught up in secret Soviet nuclear tests. He picks the story apart eventually coming up with things like
- Although they were in the mountains there were hills so it's possible they heard an avalanche coming down up on them and fled the tents then being lost in the blizzard they couldn't get back so started to freeze to death. And then as some died the living removed the clothes from the dead to keep themselves warm.
- It’s likely the camping lamp filaments of the time were radioactive.

- On BBC analysis prog one expert claimed that even though there are millions of stories on the interenet these days most of them can be traced as just being cut, paste and comment on stories from the world's top 4 news sources BBC, AP etc ..CHURNelism churning the same news
